En español, algunos verbos se conjugan de forma irregular. En presente tenemos verbos irregulares de muchos tipos. Por ejemplo, el verbo “volver” es irregular y en presente cambia la “o” por “ue” (como dormir, almorzar, contar…). Por eso, decimos VUELVO, VUELVES, etc y no *volvo* o *volves*.
El verbo salir es irregular SOLO en primera persona (como, por ejemplo, hacer). Decimos SALGO y no *salo*. Pero sí decimos SALES, SALE, etc.

IN Spanish, there are some verbs that are conjugated irregularly. In present tense we have irregular verbs or different tipes/kind. For example, the verb “volver” (to return, to come back) is irregular and in present tense changes its “o” for “ue” (just like dormir, almorzar, contar…). That’s why we say
VUELVO, VUELVES, etc and not
*volvo* or *volves*.
Salir (to go out, to leave, to hang out) is an irregular verb, but just in the first person (like for example hacer). We say SALGO and not
*salo*. But we do say
SALES, SALE, etc.
